These guys are very cookie cutter metalcore, but the vocalist is pretty good

Mediocre at best. 2/5
|

Damn, couldn't leave the title as is, huh?
But yeah, this is basically BMTH 2: Oli still screams edition. Not super impressive, but great at times and solid overall. What is extraordinary is that the lead vocalist actually wrote all the music himself as a teenager.

Live in Richmond, never heard of these dudes.
|

The Fountain, Glass Houses, and Crawl, e.g., are well above mediocre. The song I linked above first was just for the laughs as the riff is just about directly ripped from Shadow Moses. These guys might wanna be on the lookout for a lawsuit for this one.

They've only played like a couple shows there since they weren't even a full band until after they got signed. Were at the Canal Club earlier this year:

Great live band.

If the album were actually called Sempiternal II, then sure. But since it's not, no.
|
| |
Well, I mean, they didn't wanna make it too obvious.
|
| |
Noah didn't write all the music?
|
| |
He did.
|
| |
These guys rip Sempiternal so well that I can't even be mad at them. Certainly better than anything off of That's the Spirit.
|
| |
no, he didn't hahaha
|
| |
You seem to know them personally so take it up with him. He's said he wrote the album multiple times on various forms of social media.
|
| |
Dude, I have to ask you: what's his dick taste like?
|
| |
^^^^
but really i've known their bass player for close to 10 years and know for a fact he wrote at least a couple of these songs. but i also know noah is incredibly narcissistic and it doesn't surprise me he's just saying stuff like that.
