Darcys release Miracle 2016-04-21 by WePartWays | 6 Comments | Following a split from two members and recording sessions in Red Bull Studio Auckland, Toronto-based Darcys have premiered their first single "Miracle" on Noisey. Abandoning their art-rock leanings and aiming for a breezy, sun-infused funk-pop sound, the duo crafted a track whose slick bassline and infectious vocals immediately jump to the foreground.
Compared to past releases, "Miracle" surprises with its pronounced extraversion and complete lack of restraint. It trades introspection for a bold sound that aims for an immediate reaction, sporting the tagline "I put my money on a miracle tonight / It's gonna take us far away".
Darcys's fourth album is expected to be released during the course of 2016.

dope fucking band
| | | Was a bit confused whether it's even the same band than THE Darcys. Going from alt-rock to pop-glitter-groove didn't make it any easier to tell, but yeah, it's them alright.
Cool song. I'm still a bit confused.
Then i read the article. Now i'm on board again.
