he's always been my least favorite part of silverstein
| |
i mean, it's not bad, but it is painfully generic
| |
I saw this on equal vision yoitube page earlier and was trying to guess what band he was onvs the frontman of
| |
sounds like it could be on a silverstein album lol
| |
That title is a little misleading. He started a solo project, but the title makes it sound like he left Silverstein.
| |
yeah I know but I couldn't think of another title that was short enough lol
I like the song and it really could be on any Silverstein album as well. But Shane replied in several facebook comments that it's just the way he writes so it will always kinda sound like him. Seems like the other 2 songs are a bit different though.

God, this is fucking awful. How can anyone listen to vocals like this?
| |
Shane is a great vocalist, no idea what you are insinuating.
| |
Really only a tiny bit poppier than Silverstein, seems a little strange to separate the two. But it isn't bad, always kinda been a sucker for his voice and Silverstein in general.
| |
How? He sounds NO different from any of the other scene vocalists.
| |
bad ass
| |
P bad
| |
This sucks lol so boring I couldnt even listen to the whole thing

Silverstein Vocalists Solo Project
Maybe, what actually happened, is that you knew exactly what you were doing
| |
Clickbait: the sputnik conspiracy
| |
Good song. Shane apparently did all the instruments, lookin forward to hearing the other 2 songs he's done so far
| |
What's wrong with the news title? Just because he went solo doesn't mean he left the band or are you complaining about something else?
| |
"Maybe, what actually happened, is that you knew exactly what you were doing"
Or maybe I just didn't care and took the first thing that came into my mind and was short enough
| |
So what you're saying is that you were lazy? I knew it!
Jk, it wasn't really a big deal, I just thought I'd point it out.
| |
Change the title sounds like some boy band shit
| |
This is awful
| |
this isnt bad, just painfully meh. i love silverstein because they juxtapose shane's sugary singing with their (for a yesteryear scene band) heavy parts. this is just bland.
| |
I like silverstein a little less with each album now, a lot of their newer stuff doesn't feel as genuine(kinda like this actually) to me. I'm sure Shane writing basically silverstein songs for his new solo project isn't gonna help any either

Discovering The Waterfront is the best album released by Loser Records.
| |
just as long as we all know this is shuiiiit
| |
Agreed and yea DTW is great and so is ASITS
| |
This is how the wind shifts > dtw, and that was my shit in high school. Karma and heroin were the first songs I learned to play beginning to end.
| |
I love Silverstein but damn it seems like anything they put out anymore is good in a lot of ways but it feels like its just being cranked out by a music making robot and they're just going through the motions. Like they know the formula for a decent to good Silverstein album and they just stick to it so they don't have to get real jobs.
| |
his vocals are like the embodiment of every pop punk cliche.
| |
Why can't artists in these genres ever grow up..
| |
This is just a Silverstein song...
| |
When I saw him holding an acoustic guitar, I was expecting some City and Colour style stuff. Nope. This sounds like some 20 year old trying to get into the pants of teenage scene girls.
| |
... go on.
| |
Chief Wiggum: Okay, we can all stop worrying now. These dogs never fail.
Kirk: But will they just find Milhouse, or will they find him and kill him?
Chief Wiggum: Well, they'll... when they find him, they'll, um...
