the guy could've chosen to shift styles more and avoid some of the backlash but regardless it

Forgot to mention, T-Pain performed as part of a free show at my university last year... in between two songs he did an awesome vocal run, no auto-tune, and everyone was completely shocked. I couldn't figure out if he was actually a great singer or if that was some weird fluke... now I know.

honestly if you listen to t-pain's music and don't immediately write him off, you will hear legitimately high levels of musicianship in terms of production and song writing. It's lame as fuck that people just call him shitty because of such an easy target such as auto-tune.
