What? That was a semi-serious question. I remember listening to a Lights song in Wylies car that was just over the top quirky-bubbly and I hated it.

Wolf, she has matured quite a bit since her first album which I thought was a bit too quirky. This album is awesome. On par with Siberia but has a whole different feel.

Okay, so I'll give this a go.

So, first spin done and surprisingly (?) this doesn't make me want to gauge my eyes out with hot pokers. In other words, this is actually pretty solid. Not as good as the Banks LP but a major step up from that superquirky sound she had going on in the past.

I've noticed that a ton of metalheads seem to be into lights for some reason not sure why maybe it is because she markets herself to the scene kid crowd and is married to a metalcore vocalist.

I don't think that necessarily makes for a good appeal to metalheads.

I mean I also love metal and I hated her first LP. But it's not like taste is something particularly exclusive.
