Rapture in Exile is good old Darkest Hour goodness. By the Starlight is pretty shit though

I'm worried this album is going to be a dud. Rapture in Exile is the only good song released out of the three so far

While Rapture is the best of the 3 released, even that was weak in comparison to earlier endeavors. Not looking promising.

the other two are bad but By the Starlight is just on another plane of suck. this blows, i like everything theyve done. i even like The Human Romance and i thought The Eternal Return was really good on the first half. 7 albums of consistency and now this.

Never heard anything by Darkest Hour before but I thought the Rapture in Exile was pretty good and By the Starlight wasn't too bad either. I'll have to check out this album when it comes out.

I... Enjoyed By the Starlight. You guys are shitting all over it but I think it's a well crafted song, totally unexpected from this band and I guess I can see why some would hate it, but I'm honestly cool with them stepping out of their comfort zone a bit. Rapture is good but not usual Darkest Hour good.

I was beyond hyped for this album but I'm pretty much just worried at this point. I mean it's pretty much a sure thing that I will enjoy it to some extent, but I have loved everything they have done in the past, these guys are probably my favorite band.

Us. the lyrics on both of these songs kind of suck.

I actually dig By the Starlight. The buildup to the first screaming part is beautiful.

The second song is alright but then again I didn't think the first song was amazing. Pretty heavy and tight though.

It's really not that bad. This is gonna be a weird album for them, they're clearly experimenting with some different stuff. This isn't what I WANT to hear from this band, but once past that way of thinking it's pretty enjoyable. If another band put out these songs I would say I liked them without a second thought.

if they tried something different that wasnt shitty i wouldnt have a problem with it). seems like they
tried getting a tiny bit commercial on a couple songs on Deliver us, but other than that this band
seemed to not really give a shit about changing their music to gain more fans. i guess they got tired
of not making any money after 7 albums. what a coincidence, they join sumerian and start to suck ass
for the $$$. im disappointed in this band.
