Foo Fighters TV Series

2014-05-27 by trackbytrackreviews | 29 Comments
American rock band Foo Fighters will release an as-of-yet untitled TV series, exclusively on HBO to accompany their unnamed eight album and in celebration of their 20th anniversary.
Said series will be directed by Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl, and will have a documentary format. It will follow the band during tours on New York, Chicago, Austin, Nashville, among other cities "where they tap into the musical heritage and cultural fabric of each city".
The series will premiere on the eve of Foo Fighters’ 20th anniversary. Their eighth album is due out this fall on Roswell/RCA.

I normally hate reality TV except for Oddities on the Science Channel, but this actually sounds kind of cool.

Yeah this was announced like two weeks ago.

But seriously cool idea. Some of the guests who are going to appear on this album include Gary Clark Jr., Zac Brown, Buddy Guy, Joe Walsh, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Nancy Wilson of Heart, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Paul Stanley, and Ian McKaye

I know this got announced 2 weeks ago, but nobody had reported it.

Also, sorry if the article looks bad, I don't know how to format.

what happens when the drummer from Nirvana gets his very own band? lots of rock, lots of drama, and
lots of laughs! watch dave grohl, guest star Mr. T, and friends navigate the rocky (and wacky) path to
stardom in the new hit sitcom, Foo Fighters: Times Like These! find out if the band will 'learn to
fly' or 'let it die' this summer!

"where they tap into the musical heritage and cultural fabric of each city"

If that part is true and not just there to make it sound big and important this might actually be interesting.
