YESSSSSS.
| |
Not into it after the first listen. Hopefully that'll change after a few more.
| |
Loved their self titled but wasn't big on their last one.
| |
Super excited for this and their tour. These guys need more attention/respect.
| |
didn't even know they were recording, woah
| |
This sounds lazy and uninspired as hell
| |
Holy fuck yes.
| |
That was quick
| |
i like it i like it
| |
Awesome band.
| |
Okay. This is pretty goddamn underwhelming so far. I appreciate that they are trying to change their sound and I even kinda
dig the feel they were going for, but I don't think I'm feeling the execution. Foxy as a band has been a hard grower for me
anyway though. Maybe this'll get there. I don't know.
| |
figures mine had the tour dates on it too but didn't get approved ;_;
anyways yeah album was really disappointing, hoping it grows a bit but they just sounded bored
| |
hell yeah
| |
Brace yourself, Slim. This is ummm. Well, control your expectations.
| |
Don't know if those are hairy testes or ugly fortune cookies on the album cover...
| |
Maybe this is just a late April Fools and they're gonna release the real album later, right guys? Righttttt?
| |
This feels like a free album, this isn't the foxy shazam i fell in love with
| |
Yeah. Even if this grows, I'm fairly certain this is their weakest by quite a margin.
| |
First song is pretty boring. I always liked them for their energy, and that song doesn't have any.
| |
what the fuck just happened? this is awesome.
| |
This is too hip.
| |
Solid. Very solid. Not instantly 'catchy' and probably won't appeal to MENTAL MIDGETS but you can always go and satisfy yourselves with some Miley Cyrus. No qualms with this release and can't wait to see them on tour, expecting a great show as always.
| |
band has been rolling downhill for me since their second album
| |
No prior experience with this band but I didn't care to listen past the fourth track here. Not bad music per se, but just sort of uninteresting. Mellow, not much energy, not particularly engaging or catchy. Nothing crazy or "eccentric," either.
| |
Conor don't let this form your opinion of the band please.
| |
I've only heard their last album and thought it was pretty fun, Is this really that bad?
| |
Boring
| |
Fucking love this band. So excited.
| |
sweet
| |
i'm on my 3rd listen through and i'm starting to really like it
| |
That part about the foo fighters was cool.
| |
Still waiting for them to top Introducing
| |
They did. With their self titled.
| |
have never been to big on 'em, still not with this release. only really interesting thing about this band is their live performances. who the fuck would eat 5+ lit cigarettes?
| |
They did. With their self titled. [2]
| |
Enjoyed all of their releases. I understand they're trying to do something different, but this is just not much fun to listen to.
| |
Introducing was their worst outside of this. It has highlights but it's a pretty awkward transition album.
| |
Hmm, this is not what I expected from these guys. It's not bad, but it could've been so much better.
| |
By their standards, it's pretty bad. I'm not counting them out yet though.
| |
ive heard 1 song from these dudes and it was cool i like their name it is groovy
| |
If I heard these songs at a local bands contest, I would see some future potential but as it is this album is painfully unspectacular, there's simply nothing standing out there, quite dissappointing since their other album had some fun jams...
| |
1. The Flamingo Trigger
2. Introducing
3. Foxy Shazam
4. The Church of Rock & Roll
5. Gonzo
| |
Future potential? They've been around for almost a decade now
| |
These guys used to be awesome but they've been getting progressively more and more bland.
| |
I really consider this their only bland album. I think Church is pretty underrated. There are a few missteps on it to be sure, but it also has some of their best work.

Selfie Shazam > The Shazam Trigger > The Church of Shazam > Introducing Shazam > Gonzo Away Shazam
| |
^This.
| |
Wow, why so much hate for Introducing, it was my favorite, Flamingo Trigger comes in second, and the other two tie out in third place, not sure about this yet
| |
I don't hate Introducing. I just think Foxy has far better things to offer. It's a solid album on its own.
