That was great! Now I'm really pumped.

Amazing, amazing, amazing song and those album covers are hilarious
| |
could never get into swans before (too unaccessible/sludgy for me personally) but this is freaking awesome. if album follows in this vein it will be an easy 4/5
| |
goddamit i just cant get into this band, smh
| |
I love the story behind the baby paintings, track was outstanding.
super excited gonna puke
| |
They're playing in Boston on my bday. Must go!
| |
I'm not a fan of Gira's attitude. But man does he make some bloody amazing music.
| |
song is just so fucking great. I will enjoy this more than The Seer.
| |
Grooves hard, artwork is terrifying
| |
This was a lot more easy to access than what I have heard by this band so far. It's killer
| |
sounds different
| |
i love new swans
| |
hmmmmmm...
| |
holy fuck this rules
| |
can't wait to 1 it
| |
love at first listen
| |
They should make artwork with a Swan on the cover
| |
Faith No More already did that, Gira is about INNOVATION and REVOLUTION jeez don't you read the papers
| |
swans > god
| |
guys this is just way too good I can't handle it
| |
Super weird but of course I can dig it.
| |
"They should make artwork with a Swan on the cover"
no
| |
gira is god
| |
sounds really promising
| |
can't be the only one who thought that was fucking awful
but i probably am
| |
they always have the best album covers
| |
Weird, was just contemplating the sound of To Be Kind while listening to The Seer. And now the new track is out.
Sounds like it could easily fit on The Seer. Not sure if it's a good thing.
| |
It's one of their easiest songs to digest but then again it's not. Needless to say, this tune has been on repeat all day.
| |
'can't be the only one who thought that was fucking awful'
there might be another person or two, but probably not -- this is tits
| |
gira's voice and his grasp of melody gets better with age
| |
this, sir
| |
amazing track, the only band that continuously amazes me 20 or so years into their career.
| |
this rules so fucking hard
| |
oh my fuck song of the year so far jesus
| |
I personally really like it, but I kinda understand why some fans wouldn’t like it. The track’s well-structured, easy to digest, so not necessarily what some people want out of a Swans track.
| |
This song is much easier to listen to than their 30-minute epics or lengthy droning tracks, but it's so fucking good. So excited for this album.

smoothly does it.
| |
"but I kinda understand why some fans wouldn’t like it. "
You mean fans of only The Seer?
A lot of their older stuff (i.e., Great Annihilator, White Light, etc) are much more straightforward in structure. And to be honest, fans just want to be delightfully surprised by these guys. A The Seer part 2 would have been the most disappointing move.
| |
agreed shrilly
| |
Another 34 minute song. Fuck yeah.
| |
This is fantastic
| |
Aw yeah!
