Pretty neat video
| |
lol that drummer tho
| |
isn't as cool as spirit breaker.
Good album, but I've come to conclusion that the vocalist sounds too brutal too much. The music flows better when he's shrieking and doing his more mid-high screams.
| |
I swear to god that ABR is one of the only metal bands I've seen who never wear band t-shirts in music videos.
| |
I still can't believe Jake Luhrs is only 32, I swear he looks older
Edit: At 2:08 it looks like the guy is masturbating, can't be unseen O_O
| |
I've always thought JB Brubaker is the true frontman
| |
*goes back to Protest the Hero
| |
Guitars are the absolute best part of this band. I love this album. Sweet vid.
| |
Rescue & Restore > Volition
| |
this is as good as mainstream metalcore gets. that being said, this video is goof
| |
People really still do that corny running in place thing the vocalist is doing at 0:12?
| |
Pretty sweet video but what the fuck is going on with that drummer lol
| |
Can everyone in this band (well, everyone except the drummer) stop jumping around like coke'd up rabbits?
| |
Man this album is just too good. Nobody does it like ABR.
| |
Band has grown progressively cheesier since their first album. Their "heavy breakdown" parts are so bad now, the melodic parts are cool though.
But seriously is it just me or are their breakdowns really bad now? Messengers sounded massive and this just sounds annoying
| |
Their breakdowns hit the peak by Messengers agreed
| |
Take pride in the provision
| |
The breakdowns themselves are NOT better imho. I believe it's really subjective though. And i agree that their songwriting on R&R is "better" than on Messengers, as in more focused and mature. I still find Messenger's more hard hitting (aka better)
| |
Great album, but i feel like they picked the worst songs as the singles. Fault Line and Provision are the tracks i usually skip. Beauty in Tragedy slays.
| |
Good lord, that video is goofy. Not a bad song on the record, in my opinion.
| |
yeah video's kinda goofy
| |
I mean, the graphics are cool, but the posturing of the members is just silly. At least they seemed to enjoy themselves, though.
| |
Video for Creative Captivity pls
| |
Watching the frontman gesture all over the place is really annoying.
| |
Constellations was better than R&R.
| |
@fluttertank
No need to have your jimmies rustled it's just metalcore.
IMO the songs themselves have way less energy and raw passion like they did on messengers. It just sounds like they're going through the motions now to continue their career.
| |
I can't get into this damn album. Yet Constellations stole my heart.
| |
Music video is kinda lame... Too bad the song is amazing.
| |
Well my first spin of R&R was definitely not as god as Constellations, but it grew on me and now I feel like it's easily their best album.
The singles choices are dissapointing tho.
| |
One of the few metalcore bands around that actually puts on a display of talent with their music rather than a bullshit chugfest for 45 minutes
| |
I liked provisions as one of the best. This was thier best since Messengers IMO, but still got kinda boring by the last few songs.
| |
Definitly one of the best on the album, and the album is great.
| |
Awesome song on a sick album - but Beauty In Tragedy or Count It All As Lost would have been better singles choices in my opinion.
| |
Beauty and Count It All As Lost fucking rule. Should make vids for them.
| |
Yer I really hope they do. My fave songs on the album without a doubt.
| |
but Creative Captivity
| |
An awesome song in it's own right, but I don't feel like it captures the raw sense of passion & emotion on display in the aforementioned ones to quite the same degree.
Basically, still goes hard - just not as hard in my personal opinion.
| |
'I can't get into this damn album. Yet Constellations stole my heart.'
bloc, sometimes I wonder if you're secretly just me, somewhere else in the world.
| |
Haha, I'll admit watching this video made me like the song more.
| |
Messengers sounded massive and this just sounds annoying
Messengers is far and away their worst album. Awful production, mediocre songwriting, and ~7 breakdowns per song.
| |
as a whole messengers was not good but it had songs that beat the rest of their shit
| |
Composure, Back Burner, The Eleventh Hour, The Truth of a Liar, Redemption, still have very fond
memories of Messengers.
| |
their breakdowns have gotten better in that there are less of them
| |
also this video rules. drummer makes it look so easy though.
| |
"I can't get into this damn album. Yet Constellations stole my heart"
yeah I hear ya. R&R is good but after Beauty in Tragedy it just falls flat. Cool vid though. ABR makes pretty darn good ones.
| |
My eyes and ears just came.
| |
"Man this album is just too good. Nobody does it like ABR."
This must be an infomercial
| |
"as a whole messengers was not good but it had songs that beat the rest of their shit"
Nah, Constellations alone destroys Messengers and it's generic breakdowns and its ear-aching production
Thread just needs some damage control
| |
True, but composure, redemption, and truth of a liar still slay.
| |
this is their most cohesive (best) song to date imo
| |
I actually think messengers had good song writing. Interesting structure, exciting riffs, awesome vocals, and a lot of personality.
| |
Awesome song, also loved the way the video was directed I've never seen any music videos as great as this one.
| |
I wish I could train myself to have that kind of posture while drumming.
| |
No kidding. matt is a beast.
| |
