It's great that they kept some of their sounds from the AirMech soundtrack and brought it over to the
band!

After NEVER liking these guys (except the Delerium project) this is one album I think I might adore
depending on the vocals.

some effect sound a bit gimmick-y, but I guess you can't expect them to return to the Tactical Neural Implant sound.

Please explain why being bass heavy equals dubstep now.

I was trying to emulate retarded comments, it seems I still need to practice. I might want to add that a "wub" doesn't imply it's dubstep either.

It's clear they're adopting some musical elements that are popular atm, although it's in essence quite similar to their previous albums

Ah gotcha!

Yeah having no former love for the group I really enjoy how they're adapting to remain relevant and (seemingly) having a blast while doing so.

This song was basically a banger and a fun ride while listening, but you can throw it away afterwards. I'll just wait for the album and see how it turns out to be, but I hope it'll be more than just this.

I don't really enjoy his voice, why I loved the soundtrack so much. Will be interesting either way though.

Leeb's voice and lyrics always have been a bit problematic, but when a whole song is build around dissonance it's not really a problem

FLA have always integrated the latest electro fads into their sound. They've done the industrial metal thing, they added ambient, drum&bass... so, it only makes sense that they'd continue that trend on this album. Having said that, it's good, like usual. FLA don't make music that lasts beyond the listen. It's just supposed to be cool while it's on.
