Witherscape Stream New Song 2013-06-10 by zaruyache | 10 Comments | Century Media Records has recently released the first new track from the upcoming debut record of progressive metal band Witherscape. The song, 'Astrid Falls', is the second track on the group's upcoming record, "The Inheritance.

Formed by heavy metal legend Dan Swano with fellow multi-instrumentalist Ragnar Widerberg, the album marks Swano's return as a main songwriter, having confined himself mostly to the position of record producer in recent years. This new project is said to incorporate aspects of both Swano's heavy death metal and melodic rock sounds, while including many other influences in the mix as well.
The Inheritance is set for release on July 29 in Europe and August 6 in North America.
