I still am not a fan of "Parachute" but War Paint grew on me a ton, RFTS will always have a special place in my heart though

Reach For the Sun is way more personal for me. War Paint was pretty good but it didn't connect with me the same way, plus the hooks weren't there like they were with RFTS

I don't understand how you people didn't love "I Should Leave Right Now" because that was definitely closer to RFTS than any other song on that album

I just bumped down my rating for War Paint from a 5 to a 4.5, possibly a four soon. I realized it doesn't compare to Reach for the Sun in quite a few places. I also think I like their EP, If You Could Only Keep Me Alive, more than War Paint. Now it's time to ask for my completely hyperbolic review of War Paint to be deleted.

Now based on this song and a couple other acoustic ones they've released, this has such great potential! I just wish it would come out earlier in the summer.

I don't think War Paint even compares to their EP or debut, it was an ok album but their are sooo many memorable parts on IYCOCMA and RFTS. War Paint was just samey as fuck to me and that made it boring

With the EP, the parts are greater than the whole. Some brilliant songs on their, but they don't really fit together as an album.
