beautiful album. high 4 so far, probably higher in the end. theyre back on top after a 2 album stumble.

as much as i expect this to be 3.5-4/5 like most JEW, there's a part of me that expects great things

Byebyelove is the first song of theirs in 15 years that is genuinely bad. I LOVED invented and chase this light, and half of this is great but the other half is filler. This is their first album since clarity that I've felt that

It's undoubtedly better than Invented so far - that was a real stinker - but this is definitely still a bit on the boring side. I was waiting for a mix of Clarity and Futures....but this is more like the lovechild of Clarity and Invented.

invented wasn't a stinker at all lol but i still think i like this better

i liked invented, but i somehow haven't listened to anything of theirs between Invented and Bleed American
