Automatic was pretty damn good, but the recent pattern with VNV is that they release a bad album, then a good album, then a bad one, etc.

Or they just settle for the same sound as before and squander good ideas.

I would agree with this, but I was surprised to hear that Automatic was slightly different than their previous couple of albums, which is a good sign. We'll see what happens with this one.

This isn't metal. I haven't heard them because is labeled under the wrong genre on Sputnik. I listened and it wasn't bad, but not my thing.
