Jamie's Elsewhere Kickstarter (update) 2013-04-11 by iGuter | 14 Comments | Since ex-lead singer Aaron Pauley left to be the clean vocalist/bassist for Of Mice & Men and leaving their label
Victory Records, Illinois band Jamie's Elsewhere have been moderately beating the odds by adding a new
vocalist, Justin Kyle and making a new song "A Ghost With An Image." The band has recently made an
announcement that they have created a Kickstarter to fun their third album. The official statement can be read
below:
PLEASE REPOST/SHARE/RETWEET THIS WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET! With that being said,
thank all of you for your ongoing patience we have been working very hard on this album for you guys we
understand everyone has there own opinions on bands doing kickstarters but you have no idea how much it
costs to record an album pre pro, studio time, mixing, mastering, plane tickets, hotel, food it never ends we wish
we didn’t have to ask for your guys help trust me we do we but there is no way we can fund this on our own we
have put all of our money into this and have nothing left yes we could record in a basement or a friends house or
even some local studio but we want to release the best product we can for you guys and plan on coming back
stronger then ever in order to do so we need all the help we can get if you don’t have the funds to help us out
even a repost/retweet/share would be greatly appreciate and for those who do help fund our project we will have
some awesome prizes in return so once again if you guys could please take one second and share this flyer we

I loved They Said a Storm Was Coming, but the vocals were what really made this band for me. If they get this album together I'll still check it out.

'They Said A Storm Was Coming was fucking MILES ahead of anything that was put out at the time, one of my favorite releases of the last 5 years. That being said, Aaron made that band (just listen to their first release) and the new stuff just isn't as good :

Agreed. I actually really dig Austin Carlile's screams, but I was never a fan of the cleans in OM&M. So yea, can't wait for new OM&M either.

Good to hear om&m got a new clean vocalist. Carlile's screams get so fucking annoying; i couldnt stand a whole album with just his highs and "RAH"-breakdowns (or whatever that noise he makes is)
