Queensryche (with Todd La Torre) are streaming the song 'Redemption'. The song is taken from the band's upcoming untitled album which will be released through Century Media on June 11th.

The band wrote “Redemption” collectively while the melodies and lyrics were written by Todd. The single “Redemption” and upcoming Century Media release marks the debut from the lineup comprised of Todd La Torre (Vocals), Michael Wilton (Guitars), Parker Lundgren (Guitars), Eddie Jackson (Bass) and Scott Rockenfield (Drums). The song was mixed and mastered by famed Queensrÿche producer James “Jimbo” Barton who is known for working on the band’s classics Operation: Mindcrime and Empire.

About as good as a more classic Queensryche rocker. Nothing really standout and some of those solos were a little clunky. Todd's voice kills Geoff's though.

Honestly this sounds like a Weeble song with solos but i'd rather listen to Narwhals

meh, it's just well played uninspired metal

there's no reason for someone listening to such stuff apart from being historically concerned with the band imo

but let's wait for the whole album

I think I'll just go and listen to 'Another Rainy Night' and remember when I used to love this band.

Willie you could have made a funny side note in your article with the whole issue behind Geoff and his F.U. title for his new album, and then the others making a song called "Redemption".

While not on par with the 80's material, it is easily the best song they've released since Promised Land. Overall, I like it better than a lot of the songs on Empire, which is a great album. I have a feeling the rest of the album will be even better.

Best since Promised Land????????

There are many great QR tracks on OMII (the entire second half of the album), American Soldier, and even Open from Tribe.

This song is no where near the quality of those songs.
