Are either of these bands relevant anymore?
I hear Manson sux live anyway
|

Well I don't know about Alice Cooper, but Manson is struggling to finish a one hour show per night. It's sad he doesn't give up drinking and take some vocal lessons so he won't sound like choking anymore.
|
| |
Well Alice copper actually puts on one of the better/most fun shows I've ever seen and Manson put on one of the worst shows I've ever seen...
|
| |
Oh come on! This is just validating all the shallow and laughable stylistic things Manson does to get attention.
|
| |
This could be interesting. Last time I saw Marilyn Manson live was in Nottingham back in December 2008, which proved to be enjoyable despite the lackluster vocals. Last time I saw Alice Cooper was at BOA 2012, and he was fucking incredible. The man sure knows how to put on a show! Manson and Cooper touring together doesn't sound that bad to me, but I have heard a lot of bad things about MM's stage performances of late...

I saw Manson earlier this year and it was a great show. I really didn't notice if his voice sucked while I was there. Funny story: he threw down his mic after every song, and one time it bounced into the audience and someone stole it. It was a $2,000 mic and the venue was pissed.

Except I'm pretty sure Manson provides his own equipment....
|

I missed the Cooper/Zombie tour a few years ago, and didn't really care about the Zombie/Manson tour...this could be interesting. I don't know if it's worth driving three hours though
|
| |
Will go only for alice cooper. Never cared about manson
|
| |
"brutal planet was his best album m/"
only if you don't count his 70's discography
|
| |
for a split second i thought this was talking about anderson cooper
would have gone
|
| |
great, another tour i dont give a fuck about
|
| |
Welcome 2 My Nightmare !!! what an album name haha
|
| |
Are these two still bands that their frontmans decided to name themselves after in order to take most of the credit, or are they just solo acts now?
|
| |
I saw Manson when he toured with Zombie, and he put on a decent show then. Not sure about Cooper anymore, but might be a decent pairing
|
| |
"Except I'm pretty sure Manson provides his own equipment...."
Maybe it was his, all I know is that the staff were pissed and kicked everyone out almost immediately after the show so they could look for the mic. The head guy was offering $200 to whoever found it.

I appear to be the only Manson fanboy on this site, and Alice Cooper is in my top 3 bands too, so I'm going to go quietly sob about how they're not coming to Florida....again.
|
| |
Even if he mostly sucks live nowadays, I'd like to see him live.
|
| |
Me too
|
| |
both used to put on good shows in their day, Alice hasn't been good since Billion Dollar Babies and Manson since HolyWood, so if you guys like seeing has beens, then go for it...
