New Rob Zombie single stream 2013-02-24 by TheMoonchild | 15 Comments | Horror-rock icon Rob Zombie is back to haunt your dreams again... in the form of new music.
The industrial metal artist has had a lot on his plate as of recently; earlier, he unveiled his new frightfest The Lords of Salem, which makes its way to cinemas on April 19th. Furthermore, he has a new album, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, due out for release only four days later.
His new single, "Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Super Town" is just about what you'd expect musically from the man; a beat with lots of stomp and great catchy hook, and harsh vocals. Its lyrics seem to be about the radio nowadays and how we all seem to eat it up nowadays- in fact, the song opens with a voice sample that gets repeated- "Radio has changed our lives, and Pactically saved our lives". The lyrics can be seen as a salute to here radio has gotten us, and maybe even a tongue in cheek criticism of where it seems to be headed.
The new single can be listened to via his website:

Nothing new from him, but the song is catchy. It sounds a bit similar to Marilyn Manson's Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin'-Geddon.
| | | I quite like it I must say.
| | | Nothing special, but I dug it.
| | | The intro riff brought to mind "It's still Rock and Roll to me" by Billy Joel. In fact, I am going to go listen to that instead.
| | | Eh, boring
| | | meh, its catchy
| | | Nothing special, doesn't come close to anything from Sinister Urge
| | | Meh, Alright I guesss
| | | kinda meh by rob zombie
| | | Does it have a looping sound bite?
| | | Wasn't bad, actually. I'm finding it hard to believe that the new album will turn out great, though you never know.
| | | Not his best, I gotta say.
| | | he's been making the same song his entire career...its boring as fuck.
| | | meh sums it up
| | | New track for Twisted Metal?
