Bonobo scales the North Borders on new LP

Trip Hop impressario and Ninja Tune favourite Bonobo has finally laid in stone details surrounding his latest album. A new LP has been rumoured for some time now, following some ambiguous tweeting regarding mastering of supposed new material, but with a recent countdown on his official site whittling down to extinction, Bonobo (born Simon Greene) has confirmed both the existence and release date of The North Borders.

Expected to drop on April the 1st, The North Borders will be Bonobo's first release following his mainstream-courting effort, 2010s Black Sands - though in the interim, fans were treated to a really rather excellent remix compilation, the cleverly-titled Black Sands Remixed.

Greene has also announced a slew of tour dates in support of the upcoming release, the details of which you can see below:

04.10 Black Cat: Washington DC
04.11 Theatre of Living Arts: Philadelphia, PA
04.12 Webster Hall: New York, NY
04.13 Paradise: Boston, MA
