I actually loved Ascendancy and Shogun. The Crusade and In Waves sucked hard though.

I could care less about the new Trivium record but Draiman's new band Device sounds interesting especially considering the guest musicians hes assembled for its debut album

You guys realize that Draiman produced all of the last few Disturbed albums. Although im not saying anything about Disturbed's music, their production has been top notch. In Waves sucked really hard, but Shogun was excellent. So this album has a decent shot at being good. Considering they always follow a bad album with a good one, (from a fans perspective).

But I'm a shameless fanboy of Trivium, so I've been like a giddy school girl ever since I saw pre-
production info popping up.
I don't care for Draiman or anything of Disturbed really aside from the very popular songs. In wake
of the 6th album, the members of Trivium have said that it will be "heavier", but with news of David
Draiman recording, I'm thinking they mean Metallica or Pantera "heavy", not the heavy like Dust
Dismantled, A Skyline's Severance, and Chaos Reigns from In Waves had.

A Skyline's Severance and Chaos Reigns sucked so I hope they don't go "heavy" in that sense. Trivium is at their best when they mix harsh/clean vox. Its not original or anything, but its what they are good at. More songs like the ones off Shogun, and songs like Of all these yesterdays and caustic are... from In Waves.
