Did these guys change their sound? Actually haven't heard much of them besides their name thrown around a lot. I do like the chorus to this song.

This is pretty good, although I don't think it beats out much from the band's last album. This track seems a bit too simple.

It is strange how Oli's voice was at its best on BMTH's worst album. Shame he never really perfected the safe way to scream cos it does seem like he's fucked up his voice (might just be me that thinks it really sounded broken on the last Architects album during his guest spot).

I thought the live version was a lot better personally. The guitar tone is awful. I'm blaming it on compression or something now. The chorus gets annoying really fast

I wouldn't pass on the guitar tones/production yet, as this is just a low quality radio rip. However, I'm not getting the dislike for the vocals; I think they sound great on this track.

The vocals do sound better, I think. More fitting to the music. Seems they've gone from being unlistenable mallcore garbage to bearable-yet-unremarkable mallcore. Main riff is weak, chorus is repeated too many times and is too tame for the contrastingly aggressive verse.

I think the "hipster" trend is more similar to the "emo" trend from a few years ago, in that the term has become confused with a dressing style, as opposed to a way of thinking or actual musical style.

Hipster has/had a meaning and characterized certain people and music, but now has become a popular dressing trend for teenagers, just like how "emo" was a style of music, until angsty teens hijacked the term and made it essentially only refer (in the mainstream) to angsty screamo/hardcore kids.

It took me awhile to get used to Oli's current vocal style but I think it works, he's certainly a lot better at it now than he was on Suicide Season, there's actually emotion and it isn't annoying as fuck. That being said this song was extremely underwhelming, and quite repetitive. I hope the rest of the album is better.

The vocals sound great still, but the guitars sound muffled and the snare is so damn loud.

Fuck his voice has improved. It was bad on the first two albums and ok on the last but it sounds
really good on this track. The live versions of this song suggest that he can back it up on stage as
