There's enough generic metalcore bands as it is. Guy seems really upset about this though.

Worst news ever
|
| |
Generic but i can't say i didn't like "Have Great Faith in Fools"
|
| |
"TAIB fans who planned on seeing us"
lol
|
| |
and nothing of value was lost
|
| |
What a waste of talent. I'm glad I got to see them on their last tour before everyone jumped ship.
|
| |
I thought they were making a new album? A little disappointed but whatever. I only liked their ep anyway
|
| |
Totally dig the vocalists ethics though.
|
| |
They had potential. They were a little generic but they were actually tolerable and kinda fun to listen to.
|
| |
I use to like this band honestly but no care that they broke up really
|
| |
I thought they were pretty run of the mill soooo ya nobody cares
|
| |
yeah they were generic, but they actually played guitar notes and had dope vocals. oh well, not super upset
|
| |
Never even heard of them. Shocker, I know.
|
| |
Had some awesome songs. Great guitarist and vox. Kinda bummed they broke up, i was wondering why i didn't hear anything new from them since they released that single a couple months back.
|
| |
The vocalist sounds pretty hardcore bummed.
|
| |
thought they made a new album. I guess not.
|
| |
i was actually kinda excited for the new album :
|
| |
Such a loss for a band with potential I expected more from these guys
|

|
| |
these guys were miles ahead compared to actual generic metalcore bands. but yeah, they were nothing special
|
| |
This was inevitable. Too bad they had to end so early, I thought Great Faith in Fools was really fucking awesome, they had great energy and awesome guitarwork. One of the very best I've heard in the genre imo.

"The Air That I Breathe"
I will not relent. No, No!
Never live with defeat, never falter
This like the air that I breathe
(like the air that I breathe)
I will not choke on failure...
Cause I will not choke on failure.
[Chorus:]
I am a mortal man
But I'm not fallen
I'm not broken, yet
I am a mortal man
But I'll hold tight to my beliefs now
I have suffered defeat, pain, loss
Still I push to the edge, never falter
For this cements my beliefs
(this cements my beliefs)
I'll remain my own master
I will not relent. No, No!
Never suffer defeat, never falter
For this cements my beliefs
(this cements my beliefs)
I will not choke on failure
[Chorus x2]
[Bridge]
[Guitar solo]
I will not relent
I will not relent. No, No!
I will not relent
Never suffer defeat, never falter
I will not relent. no, no!
Never suffer, Never falter
I will not relent. No, No!
Never suffer, Never falter

the stacked vocals this band used really pissed me off. They definitely were more than competent as musicians though.
|
| |
Seems like this is no big loss.
|
| |
Damn, this is a loss. They really stood out for me. Pity
|
| |
Sad news, they had potential.
|
| |
True..
|
| |
Didn't they like sign to Velocity/Rise but never release anything? Or was something released?
|
| |
I, The Air Breather
|
| |
You, The Mouth Breather
|
| |
Xyphyn, they released Great Faith in Fools through Rise in 2011.
|

Risecore band breaks up
Band member releases immature, angst-ridden statement
Life goes on
|
