Think he should've kept it secret going for 2 more albums, was loving all the suggestions as to who it was.

hard for me to accept all the rapping is JUST him. There's too many parts that sound like Tyler and Left Brain. If anyone was at the show, did he do ALL the verses, or just some?

none of it sounds like tyler in my opinion, and in real life. maybe left brain a little, but i have a hard time seeing left brain wrote lyrics like that. its flying lotus fa' sho

Couple lines on "Between Friends" sound a lot like Tyler
"...they can't get past the deep voice
Conceived in a Rolls Royce, abortion life, pro choice
Goth hop, put a beanie on pitch bent like a leanin' song"

@gringo earl did one song with him, some other MC did a few verses, he did mostly everything though

Yeah lyrically Tyler had to at least ghostwrite some of this, can't only be FlyLo

my next question is what's the difference in the two albums? Is one based on the video or what?

Fort23

it's one album, the deluxe just breaks it into tracks and the download also includes artwork and instrumentals. the original was just a long video and then he put out a zip of the audio. then he released the deluxe.

@eagles, the lyrics definitely are in the same family of tyler's but i really don't think tyler would be able to write lyrics like this. not saying he's not good enough, but it's just so different. murphy's vocabulary is way more dexterous and basically more earl-like (atleast new earl), while tyler is more clever-punchliney, really more mainstream. or he's just super honest and there's none of this here.

that said, it's possible tyler just decided to experiment with a bit of a different style, or that the collaboration between him and flylo and/or earl led to this particular style. idk, i wouldn't be mad if flylo had help with the lyrics, but i also like the idea that he's secretly been a dopeass rapper as well as a beloved producer for years.
