oh my god, I fucking KNEW he was gonna go this route. I saw him this summer and was expecting a nice, instrumental hip-hop set. What I got instead wass cookie cutter brostep. why the fuck is EVERYONE selling out their sound for this mid-frequency shit? yeah yeah CASH I know but fuck. I didn't even like Araabmuzik that much but I lost all respect I had for him after that.
incidentally he's playing at this really awesome club in Gastown on the 4th and I might go because I'm dying for a dubstep show (hasn't been a decent one in ages) and this venue has such a great system. and also I've got this mdma just sitting here on my desk, weeks old, I need an occasion. idk I can't just take that shit casually, I need to be at a show or something.
anyway yeah, I wasn't crazy about his first LP, but this next one is gonna suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
