This Time Next Year Break Up

2012-10-23 by andcas | 27 Comments
This Time Next Year has officially announced plans to call it quits after six years together as a group. The band leaves behind two EPs and full-length albums among countless memories spanning their entire career.

The reason behind the decision is unclear but a farewell music video for "Note" from Drop Out Of Life has been released. There will be two final shows played in their California area in December to close things out.

Damn, this sucks. One of the few enjoyable pop-punk bands I have heard.

Hate it when small bands break up, especially when they're just getting good. RIP

this band was THE band that got me back into pop-punk, I actually owe it to them how my music taste has progressed, this really REALLY sucks

I prefer Misser so I hope they hang around. TTNY were decent, though I never really got into them.

Doesn't really bother me, never got too attached to these guys and their last album wasn't very good.

Spirit, Misser is much better. I like this band but calling them original would just be a lie. Misser has a distinct sound

I listened to their most recent work all day today, still blows that they're calling it quits.
