These guys will never get old. Huge influence for me. Serious contender for album of the year along with Portal of I.

I'm impressed with Lethean although vocals are too over produced and deep sounding. Listening to other song now.

Have had a promo of the album for a while. Bit disappointed overall, think I am beginning to get tired of the same old Katatonia sound sadly.

Lethean really caught me at first listen. It'll be awhile before I can shake it off and give an honest opinion.

Totally agree with this. Instrumentation is awesome but the vox are kind of overpowering and don't fit at all with what is happening behind them.
That said, both songs were good, and I am looking forward to this.

Band is always good, but they do get a tad boring after a while. Pretty much the definition of a band playing it safe and milking the same thing for many albums. Guess I can't blame them too much, it's a solid product

Katatonia is a solid band to me, but they never make anything that really stands out IMO. It's always kind of the same vocals with the mid-tempo instrumental which sounds good but never really impresses me too much. I don't know, I can see why people like them (They're one of my brother's favorite bands) but I just never got into them too much.
