it has pretty melodies and orchestra [:

I literally just listened to them for the first time today. I'm already hooked. Time to go through their entire back catalog before this drops.

band is so good song is so good

Post rock has been getting stale as of late, but I'm really looking forward to this. Now we just need GYBE to release an album.
|
| |
OMFG! I'm cumming buckets.
|
| |
hmmm. its ok. feel like ive heard it all before though. still need to give it the headphones treatment.
|
| |
bliss

song rules, band rules, cant wait for new album, will rule (despite being unfortunately titled)

Mono for my parents.
They have a biological warfare agenda. Jk.
I'll listen to this... But post-rock's felt pretty meh to me lately.
|
| |
It's pretty pretty, yup.
|
| |
damn noctus... i submitted this as news but you beat me to it.I don't mind considering your love for a certain Portland band;)
Pretty song, pretty Mono.
|
| |
bad

This sounds exactly how I thought it would. Though it's good, it's not incredible. It's pretty generic, predictable and drags on and on and on....this is coming from a fan of a lot of their previous work.
|
| |
not as good as toe but i like it just the same.
|
| |
finally listened in headphones. hmmm. its good. but its more of the same. take one emotional tone, lay it on really thick, and make it gradually louder over 8 minutes. at least explosions in the sky move between multiple tones and crescendos in a single song. mono need to break out of their own mold.
