yeah this is dope. if it wasn't for El-P, Killer Mike and Billy Woods this would have a good shot at being the best hip hop album released so far this year

El-P is still winning in that category

Ty take your unfortunate opinions elsewhere

i'm leaning towards Killer Mike for hip hop aoty (and overall) so far, but it is close... I'm hoping P.O.S. tops them all.

labor days is his best (followed closely by the daylight EP), but this is a step in the right direction. I like his production style... i just wish the whole thing wasn't so stream of consciousness.

i saw this was trending on twitter. maybe people are finally paying attention to worthwhile sort of halfway semi-underground music after all.

LD = Daylight > NSP = Float = Skelethon (maybe, still evaluating) = appleseed > w/e

he is a very solid artist overall, but never has done anything classic imo

This album was pretty awesome on the first listen. It's a 3.5 at worst for me, but I can definitely see myself enjoying it more with time.

Aids, I can see you really liking this one. :]

after 3 monts I found None Shall Pass as a classic LP, mastermind flow and Skelethon sounds kind a similar

But this year El-P is still on top spot, Skelethon second, Death Grips and Killer mike tied third...
But I have a monstrous expectations for new P.o.s. and Dark time Sunshine

Agree with all of this but rating it higher than you. Probably his best LP since Labor, it just kind of falls off towards the end. Cycles to Gehenna is my favorite.
