Not feeling the new one. The vocals have gradually changed over the last few albums, and to my disappointment on AtGoS, for the worse. This higher-pitched thrash- and hardcore-inspired screaming doesn't fit at all, even with Karl's low grunts. Production sounds like ass anyway. They had a good run (1998-2009).

I actually like the addition of the different vocals, and I believe that is the dude that used to sing and play bass with them 'til after In Their Darkened Shrines. I liked the first song featured a lot. I am going to have to check it out. I really liked the last record quite a bit.

Production is flat, I guess, and makes me not want to listen to this anymore. It doesn't grab you, it's got no power, no death metal BOOM, nothing to pull you in. Never been big on this band, but this definitely didn't help.
