exclusively on iTunes.

I think that if if Billy Corgan could have seen himself today 15 years ago.. He'd kick his own ass.

This band hasn't mattered for a long time. Tell me Corgan, why should I care again?

The song structures and dynamics are pretty cool

Everything else basically sucks, including the production and Corgan's voice

Not liking the production much, but the songs are pretty great so far. Definitely the best since Mellon Collie IMO

I was excited, but exclusively on Itunes? fuck this, man.

Edit : I thought about it and maybe it's because of the label who might've made a deal with Apple

Well, currently halfway through, and it's better than most stuff after Mellon collie. Owns zeitgeist in every way

I think some are being way to harsh on this, I'm only like half in and it's actually quite good. Also, it sounds like Corgan has still got it vocally despite what others might think.

We'll see though, maybe I wont even be down after listening to it more then once.

Some pretty decent tunes on here actually. A few of the mellower ones are quite bland but all in all this is alright

This is fucking awesome, are people just retarded? Wait what am I saying? Of course they are. This rules so hard my balls hurt.

Confirmed for inferior plebeian to my patrician music tastes. This clearly rules. Must be to deep for
you.

Just accept the fact that Billy Corgan still has music to offer and you are an idiot for not even giving this a chance.

I'll give you that there live act has suffered quite a bit. But this fucking rules and when he plays this stuff live, he puts all his effort into it. With the old songs he just rushes to the end of them. Kinda sucks.

Might give it another listen but it really sounds pretty bland like most of their post Mellon Collie material.

I really hate you all. Adore, Machina 1 and this are all great. Especially Adore and Machina 1. Those are incredible albums that are heavily underrated. They deserve more respect dammit.

It's even better on second lesson. My God, Billy has done it again. Any doubters just need to listen to the first 5 tracks. So fucking great.

Make no mistake, Corgan is an asshole. As a life long fan I have no problem saying that. But everyone is right in saying that this is the bands best work since MCIS.
Good album.

Ok. So I now only follow Corgan for nostalgia sake; they were 'the' band for me growing up. I fully expected to be disappointed by thus but this album is actually very good.

Glad to see some positive reception. People have been way too hard on Billy since the reunion, and in a lot of ways he probably deserved it, but Oceania is a great record and it deserves a strong, positive response. I strongly advise seeing the band live next time they tour, yeah, the live band was severely lacking when I saw them a couple years back, but I saw the current line up last fall and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. They played a killer set with classics like Geek USA and Starla, and the stuff from Oceania fit in perfectly.
