Though it would seem that the Rotersand, Jade Pudget (yeah, the guy from AFI), and Daniel Myers (Haujobb) remixes would take center stage it's actually the lesser known mixers who really shine here.

OH SHIT.
But damn why are there only remixes for Of Faith? Automatic? Helloooooooo?
|
| |
Who?
|
| |
@bloc - I know, definitely not a strong album (though I have it rated high I recall it really turned downhill after the first three or so).
@aqua - idk sir, who are you referring to?
|
| |
Haha, you can expect a "who?" in any thread regarding futurepop...
Still going to listen to it, but I am expecting something similar with Automatic or even the rest of the band's albums.
|
| |
No it's pretty fun, especially the mixes of Tomorrow Never Comes and Ghosts.
|
| |
Glad to hear that; Tomorrow Never Comes was one of the songs I kept from the album.
|
| |
These are more beat centered affairs, though definitively still futurepop.
|
| |
This is actually kinda terrible.
|
| |
Like people would pay for this
|
| |
Dude.
Be nice.
|
| |
Hook
Line
Sinker

| |
If you're mad because I 1'd that new Daft Punk album then I'll change it...
|
| |
Oh you mean the new Squarepusher album? haha
|
| |
Yeah yeah that one
|
| |
No, I'd pirate it though.
This is a bad album for remixes, even Automatic would have been lackluster.
|
| |
Yeah I agree with that. But then again, I LIKE Automatic ;)
|
| |
Uh-oh, the first remix is flipping boring. Something tells me the whole thing will be..
|
| |
I see what they wanted to do with this, breath some fresh air into an album that wasn't meant for club play, and in a way it works; having heard VNV be played every week for over a year now having some new tracks is bound to be nice.
