Canadian/Roman death metallers Ex Deo have announced the tracklist and release date for their upcoming album, Caligvla. The album is due to be released on August 31st (the 2000th anniversary of Caligula) and features the following tracks:




01. I, Caligvla
02. The Tiberius Cliff (Exile To Capri)
03. Per Oculos Aquila
04. Pollice Verso (Damnatio Ad Bestia)
05. Divide Et Impera
06. Burned To Serve As Nocturnal Light
07. Teutuborg (Ambush Of Varus)
08. Along The Appian Way
09. Once Were Romans
10. Evocatio: The Temple Of Castor & Pollux

They're actually canadian (it's all the same members as Kataklysm) but they advertise themselves as being Roman on FB and MS to go along with the theme of the band so I figured I'd just put both.

I actually enjoyed their debut so I'm looking forward to this

Even if SCREAM! didn't mention that Ex Deo is made up of most of the members of Kataklysm it is pretty clear that the band whom Ex Deo sounds most similar to is their counterpart... definitely not Nile lol. Although Ex Deo's debut was pretty good it would seem so far that Kataklysm is the better band between the two but who knows, this sophomore release could change that.
