Weird. Just went on a bike ride and I passed down a street called Faust as I was listening to The
Mantle.

Should be interesting, marrow was pretty disappointing for Agalloch's standards so we'll see.

Why is everyone acting like it's cool to hate on Agalloch all of a sudden? The band doesn't even have a bad release to their name

IMO that album was only disappointing because it was Agalloch. The album itself is still really solid but just not up to their usual standards.

And it's still just one album out of a slew of quality releases.

How is it still cool to like such a juvenile and shitty band?

Oh wait it's not.

well the studio pictures show them with electric guitar, bass and drums. so those wanting neofolk will probably be disappointed. :]

there was percussion, but i don't think there was a drumkit. still, the emphasis definitely seems to be on the metal instrumentation. :]
