Fuck. Yes.

Now for Cult of Luna.
|
| |
So it's mixed, but there's still no album title, track listing, or release date?
AotY 2013
|
| |
Fuck yea ,I can't wait
|
| |
I'm pretty sure giving titles won't take a year and owning their own record label probably helps a lot with fast releases.
|
| |
I'll probably listen to this when it comes out.
|
| |
facebook is only good for this kinda stuffs
album's gonna rule hard
|
| |
I'm coming.
|
| |
"AotY 2013"
lol nope, i'm sure that they have all that down but just don't want to ruin the surprises
|
| |
So it's mixed, but there's still no album title, track listing, or release date?
AotY 2013

Now for Cult of Luna. [2]
|
| |
I'm anxious to see what Josh Graham will come up with for the album artwork.
|
| |
So, I assume these guys are good?
Ratings for them are pretty great here.
|
| |
Listen before it's too late!

Just jizzed in my pants when I saw this Sooooooooooooooooooo can't wait for this to come out! Hopefully the band's Neurosis birthed, Mouth of the Architect and The Ocean decide to come out with new stuff later on this year too.
|
| |
Surprised Wizard hasn't commented on this
|
| |
Wizard says:
Excited for this!
|

@eternium
Cult of Luna is supposed to be releasing an album this year. From their facebook page (which is hard to find):
March 5th
"As one exclusive show before the new album is released we’ll be visiting the Getaway festival in Gävle, July 5–7th."
and
March 5th
"Please check out this cool festival. If we wouldn't have had our hands full with the recording we would love to go there to see bands like; Killing Joke, Sleep, Amenra and of course Bohren und der club of gore.
Amazing lineup!"
|
| |
Kind of curious what direction they will take after Given to the Rising
|
| |
yeah Cult of Luna have been getting the album ready for awhile
"As one exclusive show before the new album is released we’ll be visiting the Getaway festival in Gävle, July 5–7th"
and guess who set this up
|
| |
Fucking sweet!
|
| |
Sweet, gonna check these guys out.
|
| |
"Kind of curious what direction they will take after Given to the Rising"
So am I. Given to the Rising was a return to their heavier sound. Maybe this well be their heaviest album since TSIB, but with Neurosis, you can never really tell.
|
| |
idk if they're going heavier
|
| |
will suck big time
|
| |
judging by Killing Elk and At the Well, this will be closer to ASTNS that it will be to GTTR
|
| |
they played the new songs when I saw them and might agree with Kroner on that sentiment
|
| |
how many banjos do you think they broke while recording
|
| |
go back to your room
|
| |
Album will rule. Who cares how many banjos they might have broken while recording?
|
| |
"havent heard em i hate listening to new unreleased songs for the first time through shitty live youtube videos so i refuse"
these are very high quality as far as these sorts of videos go. i'd recommend giving them a listen.
|
| |
i am in my room why do you want me here
|
| |
but you're not here
|
| |
got holler'd at by a fellow neurosis-head yesterday while wearing a neurosis shirt m////
|
| |
when did we move in together
|
| |
since absolutely no one at my high school has musical tastes even remotely similar to mine i'm really looking forward to college next year and trying to experience what you experienced yesterday. what a wonderful feeling it must be, but alas, all my fellow classmates like dubstep
|
| |
just go with the musical flow so you can get laid once in your life kroner
i went back to florida for a while so I can go to the Ultra Music Festival which is full of false druggies, high schoolers, and electronic dumbasses. I went to get super faded with my friends and see stupid girls even though I'm not a fan of any of the musical acts except for Flying Lotus.
|
| |
has drops = good
according to facebook at least one person's favorite band is ATDI so there's hope
|
| |
Just happened to be listening to Through Silver In Blood when I found this.
Oh, and :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD etc.
|
| |
my cock fell off
|
| |
The vid of the new song is actually pretty good quality.

|
| |
^
Steve von Till is still killing it.
|
| |
Baseline will be boring as always.
|
| |
Don't feed the troll, Paracletus.
|
| |
Stoked
|
| |

|

At college it really is different. Most of my college friends love music like this. In Highschool I'd only get 5 to 10 people who like this stuff. In college theirs around 200 but only talk to about 20 of them.
|
| |
^ So.. what exactly does this have to do with the new Neurosis LP ?
|
| |
The band is impressively consistent. This will rule. I know that. At The Well sounds awesome.
|
| |
Never been into the band, what's their best album?
|
| |
Ok The Eye Of Every Storm it is.
|
| |
^ Listen to Through Silver In Blood.
|
| |
YEEESSSSS
|
| |
I believe this year's end of the world will have the best metal soundtrack ever lol
|
| |
sooo ive heard tons of good things about this band. and i love post metal/progressive type stuff. and ive been giving them a chance lately. and ive been super bored by them. anyone have any suggestions to their best stuff?
|
| |
just keep listening to Through Silver in Blood until it clicks
or idk start with Souls at Zero, it's a little more traditional
|
| |
naiceeee
|
| |
Times of Grace is my personal favorite. It seems to be a bit underrated, actually… but it marks the transition from the chaotic, riftsplitting albums of the early-mid 90s to the mellow and intensely atmospheric "A Sun That Never Sets" and "The Eye of Every Storm". ToG is simplistic, massive, and beautiful at the same time. Plus when streamed with the Tribes of Neurot album "Grace", it is an unforgettable experience. Truly showcases the talent and creativity of the band.
Just my 2c. Of course the new album is going to rule.
|
| |
YESSSSSSSSS!
|
| |
Probably my #1 most anticipated album for this year with pig destroyer and baroness's new albums at a close 2nd.Pretty sure Neurosis won't stream this online cause they are one of those bands that believes you should listen to it the day it comes out and not before.Very excited!
|
| |
pig destroyer is coming out with another one too? oh my god, 2012 *fap fap fap*
|
| |
Soon...Soon...
|
| |
dooooooooooown
|
| |
omg, I want their album NOW
|
| |
I still have like 5 more Neurosis to listen to.
|
| |
