2012-03-10 by cvlts | 23 Comments
Recently reformed seminal stoner metal band Sleep, in conjuncture with Southern Lord, have announced plans to reissue their opus 'Dopesmoker' this year.

The reissue will see a proper remastering from the original studio tapes and will feature exclusive artwork from Sleep artist Arik Roper. The reissue will also contain an unreleased live recording of "Holy Mountain".

If I saw Sleep with Slayer and the Melvins, I think i would crap myself. Brown note overload.
Are they gonna do a vinyl of this as well?

Sleep is one of the best bands you can see live. A priceless opportunity, truly. Please do not pass up the opportunity if you live nearby this tour.
