Actress Unveils New Album 2012-02-21 by Deviant. STAFF | 13 Comments | Dropping almost exactly two years after his critically-acclaimed sophomore album Splazsh, the UK electronic artist has confirmed that his latest album, R.I.P. will be released in April through Honest Jons Records.
The album is partly inspired by both Milton's Paradise Lost and Jamie James' The Music Of The Spheres, works that Actress (real name Darren Cunningham) revealed to have been reading while making the album.
Cunningham had this to say about the upcoming release: "I can't explain how I made those tracks, it's just impossible. It's like painting with button and sliders... Melting and dripping, seeping yourself liquid into the machinery."
