A Static Lullaby breaks up

2012-01-27 by HomerPimpson | 42 Comments
Guitarist/vocalist Dan Arnold announced A Static Lullaby will be no more via the band's facebook page:
Hi, Dan here, I'd like to thank everyone who supported the band for the past 11 years, i'ts been an amazing ride. It's
very bittersweet to say that A Static Lullaby will not be making a new record, we are comfortable with what we have done
with our music and have decided that "if it aint broke don't fix it". DON'T FRET THOUGH, i'm sure there will be plenty of
music to listen to from most of the members. From Joe Brown, Dan Arnold, Brett Dinovo, Matthew Faulkner, Dane
Poppin, Tyler Mahurin, John Martinez, Phil Pirrone, Nathan Lindeman. Thanks for helping us to become who we are
today, make sure you click on the links above to check out what some of the guys have been creating over the years.
Love, Dan Arnold

2008's Rattlesnake!

With all these bands recently reuniting a break up was in store sometime. Regardless, I doubt this band will be missed that much.

Had some great memories of this band but yeah (incidentally, I deleted all their shit off my iPod yesterday), no one on this site would give a fuck.

Their self-titled was also good, if not a little boring. The lead singer/the guitarist still have that band with the guys from the Lower Definition, Elevate: I Am.

I forgot about them and I would have figured this already happened. Rattlesnake had 5 or 6 memorable songs and they had two other songs that were well known.

Rattle Snake was actually pretty good. Although i would have grown tired of another ETID rip off album so its good they broke up i guess.

they probably should have broken up before they released that new song and did the party rock anthem cover with that other band. I had already accepted that they were gone, but then i got my hopes up for a new album and tour.

The self titled was excellent modern post-hardcore, rattlesnake seemed kinda bland to me. maybe i just don't like the style on the album, they seemed to pick up a lot of ETID influence for that one, and I'm not into that whole southern metalcore thing. I never really gave it a chance but didn't like what I did hear, so...

and yes, they did the toxic cover, but i think thats a terrible song tbh

I know what the S/T is and Rattlesnake is better than it. But to be honest, I love Hot Damn! and rattle snake is the closest to that sound ive heard. Even ETID never got that close again
