yeah cuz hardcore/post-hardcore/metalcore/-core is dying in popularity outside of Boston, certain small towns where they still listen to scenecore, US cities with a lot of Mexicans, Absolutepunk, Sputnikmusic and nostalgic 20-somethings who don't want to change their music taste.

"It ain't dying

cuz the scene's dying

"what"
It's true. As the new decade begins to progress, the underground and not-so-underground popularity of certain genres are dying to make way for lo-fi reverby indiecore, hip-hop and bleep bloop music.

That sucks, their EP was pretty damn good. It sucks when your passion for something dies, but there really isn't anything you can do about it I suppose.

"hardcore has never been a mainstream music genre anyway"
Wrong but anyway hardcore still rises and falls in underground popularity and right now it's falling quite a bit.

"gabe sometimes when i see you post all i can do is shake my head and feel sorry for you"
That's really weird that you literally shake your head at people on the internet.

Well that wasn't really a sentence since you cut it off.

"When I think of the hardcore authority I think of Gabethepiratesquad"
lol I never claimed to be an authority nor was I dissing hardcore, just saying its popularity isn't what it was even earlier this year.

"p.s. gabethepiratesquid is stupid"

If you took all the good tracks this band has written, you'd have one (admittedly awesome) album. Their albums were filled with too much stale material and too little of the awesome. Still, sad to see them go. It's the hardcore curse I tell you.

Also Gabe, you're a fucking idiot. Hardcore's at probably it's highest peak in the last decade. Just because a couple of bands split up doesn't mean shit, you fucking waste of space.

Oh no! Thrice and Thursday broke up! I guess post-hardcore's gonna die soon!
