Venom To Play 70000 Tons of Metal

The British heavy metal legends Venom have been confirmed for the next edition of the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise.

The world's biggest floating heavy metal festival will set sail from Miami to Cayman Islands on January 23, 2012 and return four days later.









30 out of a total of 40 bands have been confirmed.

wait so you go on a cruise ship, with metal bands, for four days?

Correct me if I'm wrong in that assumption (too lazy to read details), because if I'm right, the people that would attend this would be disgusting human beings and this whole ship would smell like ripe ass within five minutes.

Surprisingly these are pretty popular. In the late 90's early 00's a lot of bands would do these package tours with the cruise lines. I remember Motley and a bunch of hair bands had a big one.


Though to be honest, I can imagine this one being the biggest sausage fest this side of Johnsonville.
