Every since Shomo became the vocalist, they've been very slowly working their way up. This has the potential to be good, but I'm not too hopeful.

Shomo is the only thing this band has that really makes me look forward to this.

The only thing that is making me slightly eager to listen to this is the fact that Caleb Shomo is handling all vocals, and 'Last Breath' was incredibly good.

I don't mind core music whatsoever, but after watching one of their videos, I'm confused as to what they are trying to do with their sound. There is a tekno breakdown of some sort and the vocals are so heavily autotuned, I'm sure that the singer has no talent at all.

Memphis May Fire is unbeatable when it comes to metalcore. I have been listening to The Hollow for a very long time for now, and it doesn't get boring at all. One of my favorite albums ever.

I like AA, but this is kind of ridiculous. Even though there are other bands that have done this, this is most definitely copying MMF. I hope it's good, but I don't have really high expectations.

People with shitty taste confuse generic and mediocre with unbeatable.

I was comparing MMF to other bands to their akin, like Woe Is Me, Like Moths to Flames and all that shit. In THAT context, I just can't find any better metalcore albums than The Hollow (except TWA's Deceiver, which is also amazing).

I was not talking about any progressive metalcore, or traditional metalcore, I was talking about the modern brand of metalcore, which many bands in Rise Records present. Memphis May Fire is the best band in that scene, no fucking doubt.

I don't listen to metalcore enough to know for sure, there are far more interesting genres of music out there. But yeah Controller is some good stuff regardless. And I'll always remember metalcore as the stuff that got me into heavier shit.
