It's pretty cool. It has that echo-y delayed ring from "Melancholy Spirit" and "Ghost of Midwinter Fires."

Definitely more experimental and out there. Maybe kind of moves in a similar direction with the electronic section of "Black Lake Nidstang."

You can hear the song if you follow the link.

Haven't tried it yet, but I assume the coordinates will bring up the islands used in the the cover art.

Anyone listened to it yet?

It didn't rock me, but I don't know if that's its purpose. I think it was supposed to be sort of a musical interpretation of what the artwork is showing. If that's true, it's kind of a cool idea. Sounds like it would be good on headphones.

If anyone's curious, here's an interview about the song at Crustcake:

http://www.crustcake.com/2011/09/agallochs-john-haughm-releases-solo-7.html

Crustcake: The coordinates +46 17' 36.30", -124 4' 20.13" lead to a point in Cape Disappointment State Park in Washington. What's the significance of this location?

Haughm: Without going into too much detail, it has to do with a rather surreal and disturbing night I spent at that park earlier this year.

Would be worth the buy if it was longer and actually grew into something. Don't think I can justify dropping 7 bucks for five minutes of a dude playing with a gigantic pedal array.

I'll listen to it eventually, but I agree that the title is dumb.

it's an alright song. it doesn't really pick up or anything, it just stays the same for 5 minutes and ends.
