I liked the Hazards of Love but haven't heard anything else by this band.

I think people have been quite harsh with The King Is Dead. I wasn't sure at first because it seemed a bit unambitious by their standards but after a few listens I came to accept that it's just a bunch of great songs.

I'm really looking forward to "Burying Davy" (and not only because of the many, undoubtedly hilarious jokes that will ensue due to its titular connection with one of our much-beloved Staff writers). If any of you also bought the deluxe edition of The King is Dead a rehearsal session of it is included in the accompanying DVD. Song is boss.
