I always get suspicious when a band says that their new album is going to be all things for everybody -- i.e. the heaviness and darkness for the old fans and the strong modern hooks for new fans. That being said, it will still probably be good. October 17th is when the single comes out.

As long as it's better than Shallow Life I'll be happy. :/

She is undoubtedly the only Italian that I would ever be willing to chill/crink tea with.

I really liked this band until Shallow Life came out. It was way too poppy for me. Hopefully this is a return to their original sound.

Still enjoy this band from time to time, even Shallow Life had a few tracks I liked.

If it's as good as Within Temptation's last album then I'll give it a chance. A lot of The Unforgiving was pretty...not quite heavy, but upbeat by gothic pop-metal standards.

Never cared for this band at all, if I want to listen to metal with good female vox I'll just listen to Deadlock.

She said a while back in an interview that she was still in a 'rock' phase so this'll probably be shallow life pt.2
