Pennsylvanian post-hardcore group Trophywife have posted a new song called "Our Barren Atlas" on their facebook page. The song, which was produced and recorded by John Ferrara of Trophy Scars, is taken from their upcoming untitled second album, and will be included as a bonus track on the re-issue of their debut album An Innocent Orphan In The Post-Modern World via Songs For The Road Records.
In a video update, they mention that an alternate version will be recorded for the upcoming full-length album, which will also be recorded and produced by John Ferrara.

i love the screamed vocals. he sounds life a little bit heavier version of the vocalist from la dispute. their last album felt heavier though overall, there's a bit too much cleans in this song for my taste. still pumped for the new album though.

This is by far the softest song on the new album, glad it's getting some feedback. We definitely have some heavier songs in the mix, no worries.

It's alright, I usually review obscure enough music to get no attention. i.e. my last review.

Quakertown is the Emmanuel Episcopal Church (playing all new songs) and if the Rosetta show happens it will be at Siren Records in Doylestown. Thanks man!
