Elbow to launch their own beer

2011-07-13 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 17 Comments
British rock band Elbow are preparing to launch their own beer brand at Robinsons pub outlets in the UK.

The Manchester band, fronted by Guy Garvey, describe their brew as "a rich, rounded body, smooth bitterness, subtle tang of malt and fruity aroma."

The 4.0% ABV ale will be launched at the Manchester Food and Drink festival in October and rolled out to selected pubs in the area.

If this gets as far north as Preston, I'll give it a try. Elbow doesn't exactly scream fine ales to me though.

Jupiler's the best Belgian pint anyways.

But I prefer the stronger beers, so this Elbow beer may taste not so bad (I hope)

That's pretty decent. Is it a light or a darker beer?

St Bernardis is delicious! Tried Bush Beer? That's a whooping 13% and it drinks itself like it's lemonade

Hey, I know this probably seems a little out of the blue, but does anybody know if there's a place where I can buy this online? Probably sounds like a strange question but I was hoping to get a bottle for my friend for his birthday.
Any help is appreciated. Cheers.
