Really liked their debut (still listen to ice creaks on the reg)..

not liking this song to say the least. This guys voice (here) literally makes me want to vomit, and reminds me of the newest episode of southpark - its just shit

This just made me listen to hushing weight to compare... WTF happened? I mean the last quarter of this song has the lush instruments and ambience but STILL.. I mean its cool they are trying to go in a new direction or whatever and I admire that in musicians, but this is just confusing to me .. how did no one in the band have the balls to tell this guy he sounds like a big bag of mashed up asshole on this song

Dude, the vocals sound the same as they did on the debut, I don't know what you're talking about lol. Even if they're a tad bit different, they're not that bad, seriously.

It was pretty good, but it felt no different than something off of Moondrifts. Hopefully the rest of the album shows some growth.

um.. how do they sound the same? They were very restrained and soothing, used to accentuate the music (see: 3 minute mark ice creaks, 1:55 mark on hushing weight - and pretty much those entire songs) ... this is just loud, abnoxious and takes away from the music (see: the very first vocal line) -- EHHHHHHHHHH - sounds like a goat dying to me imo
