Having never listened to the band before, it sounds like a lower-quality Impaled to me. Decent album.

Well I guess that figures considering Ross Sewage was in this band first. And comparing this to Mondo Medicale is probably unfair.

I would suggest listening to Gore Metal, that album is a classic. However, I do find this album to be pretty great. And yes, comparing this to Mondo Medicale will definitely make your opinion valid, but Gore Metal is the shit.

Pretty average album. I do enjoy Gore Metal still, in fact, I feel like going back and changing my review for it.

Yeah, it is a fun listen, but not the best thing since sliced bread. I saw Exhumed at MDF, and it was fucking great. "Necromaniac" live was a treat from the bottom of my guts.
