Scion Rock Fest 2011 Announced

2011-01-14 by Athom EMERITUS | 14 Comments
In case you haven't been following the compact auto maker's courting of the metalhead demographic over the last few years, which has included three festivals and dozens of free shows, Scion is continuing on with their annual "Rock Fest". The 2011 Scion Rock Fest will be held in Pomona, California on March 5th at both the Glasshouse and the Fox Theater. Confirmed bands for the festival include Morbid Angel, Agalloch, Atheist, Integrity, Kvelertak, Obituary, Death Angel, Municipal Waste, Black Breath, and Nails. Admission is free with RSVP.

That they are. I didn't realize they were as popular as they are here. My bad. I'd edit their name in
but I'm on chrome and that makes the formating go bye bye.

Yeah I didn't realize it either until I 'liked' the band on facebook and they have a decent sized following.

I drove all the way from Michigan to Atlanta to get in for free. And it was worth it. Seeing Neurosis was just fucking awesome. Plus, I loved the vibe in Atlanta. Scion 2008 kicked major fucking ass! I would love to go to this one.

I drove my Scion to Scion Rock Fest in 2008. Lost my car keys in the mud during Pig Destroyer mosh pit, and they were returned to the gate by some kind fellow. Its was a Scion-made miracle!

not a bad lineup. But that 2008 set was the closest to SPUTNIKFEST as it will ever get.
