Travis left Dance Gavin Dance in August when it was announced original vocalist Jonny Craig would return to his previous position.

Learn to read, I said generic high-pitched. Also the screams were okay and they also had instrumental songs.

Actually, I think this band would be better off instrumental.

it might work out , idk . Travis has to step his lyrics-game up tho

this band was never focused on lyrics so im not sure how this will go

very exciting news. hopefully has a positive impact on the band. plan b was the shit but the vocals were probably the weakest aspect. could be a hit or miss with kurt in the band now, but if it's a hit it's going be to fucking fantastic

"The only problem I have with this is Kurt sucks ass live"

agreed, but i've seen live vids of a lot like birds and their clean vocals were pretty bad so it's
not like they are taking a step back or anything.

"Learn to read, I said generic high-pitched. Also the screams were okay and they also had
instrumental songs. "

i'm pretty sure they are keeping their screamer, and hopefully kurt won't cause them to focus too
much on the vocals. the instrumentals on plan b were awesome and it would be cool if there were some
on the new album.

"The only problem I have with this is Kurt sucks ass live"

i think he just tires easily. i've seen a couple videos of live performances where he actually sounded good. but in most of them, i agree, he struggles A LOT. most of those videos were taken after he had been on tour for a long time, though, i'm pretty sure. he looks visibly exhausted.

"Wonderful, another talented band ruined by generic high-pitched vocals. "

if anything, kurt's voice is less generic than the original singer/guitarists, so i'm confident that it'll sound better. the main issue is whether or not the instrumentals will take a step back, as they were the best part of plan b. but o! the joy, one of kurt's old bands had several instrumental and instrumentally-dominated tracks, so it might not be that big of a change.

that's what i'm banking for. his vocals will be an excellent addition to the band as long as they don't change drastically by tailoring to him

Good for Kurt. I know he took the falling out with DGD pretty hard, so hopefully this gets him back where he needs to be to be happy. Their new material should be even better with him.

This band is so awesome, but I hate Kurt Travis. Shoot.
I guess as long as they keep their incredible song writing it shouldn't matter too much. Lets just hope the old vocalist was the genius behind Plan B.
